Level 1

Level 1 charging involves plugging your electric vehicle into an outlet with a conventional AC power plug. Since a regular residential plug only supplies a maximum of 2-3 kW, charging with a Level 1 charger is the least efficient way to charge an electric vehicle, providing about 6 to 8 kilometers of range per hour.

Level 2 - AC charger

A Level 2 charger is a typical AC charging station that can be fixed on a wall, pillar, or placed in the ground. Level 2 charging stations, which deliver between 3.4 kW and 22 kW, typically used in residential buildings, public parking spaces, companies, and commercial locations.
With a maximum capacity of 22 kW, one hour of charging gives your battery roughly 120 kilometers of range. Many EV drivers choose home AC charging stations due to various SMART and safety features, as well as the smart connectivity options that Level 2 chargers provide.

Level 3 - DC fast charger

Level 3 charging, often known as DC or fast charging, uses direct current (DC) to directly charge the vehicle's battery, bypassing the onboard AC/DC converter. This enables Level 3 chargers to send direct current directly to the battery. As a result, Level 3 charging stations can supply more power faster, making them ideal for areas with frequent stops, such as gas stations and public parking lots. Charging periods vary depending on the vehicle and power output; but, in general, Level 3 chargers may charge a vehicle in minutes, compared to hours for Level 2 chargers or days for Level 1 charging stations.
