A Safer and Healthier Workplace with PORCELANOSA Solutions
The ECO PROGRAM by the Porcelanosa Group includes a range of eco-friendly products and solutions that can be utilized to design safer and healthier workspaces.
Offices, as spaces where a large number of people gather, have several requirements that need to be met: a pleasant and comfortable interior, optimal hygiene and health conditions for employees, greater energy efficiency, and a reduced carbon footprint on the environment.
The ECO program by the Porcelanosa Group meets all these requirements.
The Porcelanosa Group offers a variety of strong and sustainable materials that improve the work environment in line with health and safety standards. Here are some of them:
Durable and Sustainable Flooring
The ceramic floor and wall tiles from the PORCELANOSA Group are designed to mimic natural textures. Examples include the Forest, Smart Tanzania, Smart Minnesota, Smart Nebraska, and Smart Vancouver ceramic wood floors from the PAR-KER™ range, which consist of 95% recycled material and are produced with 40% less CO2 emissions.
This ceramic wood combines the technical properties of ceramic tiles (durability, easy cleaning, and maintenance) while simultaneously reducing the carbon content in the material.
Linkfloor, Adaptable Vinyl for the Office
Linkfloor vinyl is another ideal material for creating safe and soundproof office spaces. Versatile, comfortable, durable, and high-quality, Linkfloor can be used as both wall coverings (Contract and Wall Contract) and flooring (Roll Contract, Empire, and Hotel Air). Each of the 17 collections is highly resistant to abrasion, moisture, and chemical agents.
Hygienic Spaces with Krion
With Krion™ solid surfaces, business spaces become cleaner, thanks to their zero porosity, antibacterial properties, and resistance to wear and impact.
The material is REACH certified, confirming it does not contain substances harmful or toxic to humans and is free of bisphenol. It also does not produce volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions, helping to maintain optimal air quality in spaces where it is installed (GREENGUARD GOLD certification).
Krion is available in a wide range of colors and can easily complement any office furniture design.
Touch-Free Bathrooms with Noken Solutions
Noken, a bathroom company from the Porcelanosa Group, has launched a series of touch-free solutions for restrooms that help reduce energy and water waste while maintaining hygiene.
Using touch-free technology, Noken has designed faucets and toilet and urinal flushing systems activated by proximity sensors, leading to up to 60% water savings each time they are used (WaterForest Series).
Other solutions developed by the company to improve hygiene in workspaces include hand sanitizer dispensers with a vertical totem-style design. These systems can be integrated into the overall structure of any office without disrupting other office units and can be branded. Noken has also refined soap dispensers: its Tono, Lounge, and Forma series are available in chrome, copper, titanium, or gold finishes, giving this simple item a refined look and enhanced usability.
